“Willow Smith looks like a boy—”
“But she’s only 11 years old and has a tongue ring—”
“She looks like she’s going to grow up to be a lesbia—”
Just, shut the fuck up. Willow Smith has about 90% more individuality in her cute little earlobes than you all do in your genitals. Did we forget that the spawn of Will and Jada Pinkett is child? When you commentate and tweet things about this little girl, do you not comprehend that you could trigger her to think badly about her originality? About her life? All she is trying to do is simply be herself, and her parents support her in everything she does; her style of dress, her singing career, and etc. Does it offend you that a little girl wants to explore androgyny (by cutting her hair, wearing her father’s shirts, etc)? Are you all honestly that self-centered and negative to anything that isn’t traditional? Does she have to be outstandingly feminine to come across as okay in your eyes, you selfish people? This girl is a child, and she has discovered what is comfortable to her, a shaven head, a tongue piercing, and diverse clothing - and you bastards can’t stand that, so you critique.
It is disgusting when a child cannot even display how comfortable she is with her identity because she will be hounded for it. You people sicken me.
So what if she looks exactly like her father? Or if she favors Jada more? You have no say in what she desires in life, what she wants to become, or what she does become. Get off of this little babygirl.

Willow Smith is an amazing example for other young girls (particularly black girls) who are struggling to embrace themselves and feel insecure about looking a bit outside the norm. I will shut anyone who hates on her down so fast.
